From its integral place in ancient Greek society to the more modern use of pottery as a form of therapy, the history of pottery is almost as long as that of humanity. From Earth To Kiln is a revealing look at how the ancient artform can bring us together in many diverse and unique ways.
Life on the Streets
Life on the Streets is another of the Class of 2022’s selection of documentaries. Focusing this time on the homelessness epidemic in Bath, Life On The Streets is a poignant, touching take on an issue that is often closer to home than we realise. Featuring interviews with local homeless people and with charities seeking to help the issue, this documentary goes in depth on one of society’s biggest issues.
No Dig For Victory
No Dig For Victory is the first of Bath Spas 2022 documentary module to be premiered on Iris. No Dig For Victory follows the budding Roots allotment patch, a sustainable allotment business based on the “no dig” method of planting vegetables. A lighthearted, informative look into the future of sustainable growing, No Dig For Victory is sure to make you want to pick up a trowel and start planting.
Iris Launch Party
The Iris launch party was held on campus in early December of 2021. We held it as a celebration of all the hard work that went into getting us to this moment. Launching a tv station is not easy, even at a student level, and we felt that a party was a good way to cap this off. With speeches, live comedy and the chance to network with other creatives what more could you want?
