Bath Spa Does Strictly
The Bath Spa SU is the social hub of the Newton Park campus. From karaoke nights to society socials, a whole plethora of events can be found here. We sent a team out to cover the Dance society’s charity event Spa Does Strictly. In aid of Mind, a mental health charity based in the UK, they raised over £600 with donations and raffles. This was one of the first events that Iris covered for the Dance society.

Smells Like Bean Spirit
Smells Like Bean Spirit is the third of four sitcoms premiering on Iris this week. These sitcoms are a joint effort between the acting, comedy, theatre and film cohorts. This week’s selection comes from the Class of 2022 and every one is set in a cafe following a host of colourful characters. Smells Like Bean Spirit follows cafe owner Norman as he contends with witless waitresses and kooky customers all in the hopes of impressing his good friend Kiel, a would-be shaman from the Himalayas. You won’t want to miss this one.

Today’s episode is called the Dirty Single Cafe, and follows the workers of the eponymous establishment. Stuffy critics, braindead baristas and idiot influencers take centre stage in this show with a twist that will leave you wanting more.
